ABOUT ELIZABETH MORGAN:

Growing up in a family that was well-to-do on the surface but dysfunctional and disempowering behind the scenes, I know what it’s like to feel frustrated, powerless and without clear direction.

Early on, I learned that problems often have deep roots, but that’s also the secret to creating powerful change – once you get to the root of the problem and shift it, you create a completely new outcome.

In this case, what I learned is the power of the mind and the mind/body connection. At age 11, I learned how guided imagery was being used in treating cancer. As a teen, I read “I’m OK, You’re OK” and delved into astrology. In college, my tools of choices were numerology, tarot and self-hypnosis, and I participated in wellness programs while earning my degree.

Upon graduation, I went into the publishing business, working for major newspapers, magazines and alternative weeklies. Despite being smart and capable, and therefore earning the toughest assignments and extra duties on every job, I was paid a lot less than my colleagues, had persistent (though minor) health problems, and I was a doormat in my relationships thanks to the beliefs I’d adopted as a child and buried deep into becoming unconscious patterns. Clearly, something had to change.

So my lifelong, casual interest in philosophy, self-improvement and esoteric insights changed into a focused journey of self-transformation. I studied everything from behavior modification techniques to energy work, practical success strategies to spiritual counseling. I took life coach training purely to learn the principles to help myself, not to start a business.

Along the way I accumulated debt, ended my marriage and anticipated the decline of the newspaper business. I had no idea what to do except continue to work on myself.

And then a funny thing happened – people began demanding that I teach them what I was discovering!

I had been so busy working on myself that I hadn’t noticed that my sharing suggestions with others really helped them. I figured out how to create real results by getting to the core of a problem and combining that with constructive action. And, gradually, my journey of personal healing turned into a business.

Today, I am joyfully divorced, have fabulous friends, including my ex-husband, have studied with many of the most leading-edge healers in the world, and am seeing a wonderful man who matches the list of qualities I made for a romantic partner. I have fantastic mentors who have generously shared their time and experience with me. My business is growing every day, and I am well respected by my colleagues. I work with the most amazing clients and students. Their progress inspires me more than I can explain.

So, I’m here to tell you… whatever dream lies in your heart CAN be fulfilled if you find and clear the root issues holding you back. I’m living proof of the power of my work.
