A few of my favorite Web sites in no particular order. Also check out the Good Causes page for links to organizations doing very good charitable work, many of whom will receive money from sponsors based on the number of clicks they receive from visitors. Healing Energy This is the Web site for my dear friend Connie, who is a fantastic healer and medical intuitive. Connie is a Reiki Master and adept in EMF Balancing, Chakra Balancing, massage therapy and more. She's also an excellent tarot reader and like me, she's a trained Angel Power Therapist. She can do some things remotely but some appointments have to be in person -- it depends on the modality. Connie alternates between New Jersey and Florida, so check out her site and contact her for more information on appointments. Connie is also a fantastic potter. I'll let you know when her pottery site is ready. I was never really into EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) until I tried Brad Yates' work. Brad's EFT videos on YouTube are fabulous and the recorded versions in his Magnificent Tappers Club! are even better. He has also recorded some guided imagery audios that are lovely. You can even try the Magnificent Tappers Club! for five days for just a dollar and download the audios while you're there and then cancel. Brad endorses that idea (though he'd obviously prefer that people like it so much they stay members). Don't believe me? Go to YouTube and you'll see video proof and his explanation of why. Personal growth from -- SelfGrowth.com is the most complete guide to information about Personal Growth on the Internet.
Hrana Janto's artwork The artist from the Goddess Oracle (not to be confused with the Goddess Tarot or Doreen Virtue's Goddess deck). Her artwork is available as reasonably priced prints and she's a very nice person. Pet Finder Find the way nearest you to adopt homeless pets. Best Friends is an animal shelter based in Utah that does outreach work around the globe and has an online library of information on how you can work in your area to eliminate abandoned pets by finding them new homes. Old Friends Thoroughbred Rescue is a charity that rescues thoroughbred horses from the slaughterhouse when they become too old to race or breed. The Gentle Barn is a fantastic charity that rescues animals and then combines the animals' rehabilitation with help for abused, neglected and challenged children so they can heal together. LaserMonks Want to pay less for toner or inkjet cartridges AND help good causes? This site run by a real order of monks does both -- and their service is fantastic. They even have a prayer request link. Freya Aswynn. If you want to learn about runes, either read Freya's books or take one of her classes. Her correspondence course on the runes is amazing. A description doesn't do it or her justice. Benevolent Blends Feed your craving for caffeine (as coffee, tea or hot chocolate), support fair trade products, buy organic AND help people. What more could you want? Run by the same order of Cistercian monks that runs LaserMonks, Benevolent Blends supports programs like CoffeeKids.org and uses its products to change lives. They also have a prayer request link. Awakening Images is a site owned by Ellen Epstein, a talented artist, massage therapist and color therapist.Open Heart Messages/Marketing Kindness For those who have seem my Imagems in classes I have taught, this is the site that features them along with "Moving Messages," which are emblems we can put on our cars representing love, peace and harmony so that we move through life with those energies. Aura-Soma. If you've ever sampled this healing modality, you know that it's much more than aromatherapy or color therapy. For those in the New York Metropolitan area, I know of an especially wonderful Aura Soma consultant, but she doesn't have a Web site. Her name is Rosanna Chavez and her phone number is (212) 769-3279. Shamanism: Working with Animal Spirits. This is the best list I've ever seen online for Totem Animal information. Wicce's Tarot Collection. This is the largest selection of Tarot deck reviews I've ever seen, complete with samples of each deck's art. Even if you don't agree with the reviews, the opinions are well thought out. Alpha Life Trends. Karyl Jackson combines astrology and numerology to do a week-by-week forecast. I've also really enjoyed my readings with her. Moon Void of Course Tables as well as other astrological information and articles by Felicia Rose. How to Get a Birth Certificate
Go to this URL and get the information on how to obtain a copy of your birth
certificate for each state. An accurate birth time is essential for a good
astrological reading and in most states getting a copy of your birth certificate
is easy and inexpensive. Note for NY state residents: Be sure to specify
that you want a copy of your complete birth record, a.k.a. a "vault
copy" which another name for the birth certificate that lists your time of
birth. Unlike most states, NY does not routinely include that information unless
you specifically request it. Planetary Alchemy. An astrological site that also includes information on magickal timing and asteroids (that part is listed as "goddess astrology"). Lady Sarolta used to post daily transit information on her Web site but now it's by subscription only. It's definitely something to consider subscribing to, especially if you're interested in mixing astrology and candle magic, two of Lady Sarolta's specialties. Publishing Joy. This is the home page for Belinda Womack, author of Angel's Guide: The Spiritual Toolbox for Using Angelic Guidance in Everyday Life. Belinda is one of the most amazing teachers I have ever met (and I've had some very good teachers). I highly recommend her book. I'm also privileged to call her my friend and can honestly say that she really is as wonderful as she seems. Ten Thousand Villages A place to buy handmade items from around the world that support individuals in need.

Freecycle This is a great, free site that helps you hook up with people to get rid of (or get) things and keep it out of landfills. Find your local chapter and then start freecycling. Isaac Bonewits' Cult Evaluator. Sad to say, not every "spiritual" group is safe. I've seen or have heard stories of groups that have run the gamut from wonderful to weird but harmless to outright dangerous. How to tell which type a group is, regardless of whether it's a "study group" or an outright cult? At the link above you'll find the Advanced Bonewits' Cult Danger Evaluation Frame. Don't let the odd, clunky name deter you. It's very useful and the acronym (ABCDEF) is symbolic that the evaluation process should be as simple as the alphabet. Which Pagan is Witch? OK, I take the blame for that silly headline but the link leads you to a wonderful, clear and insightful article on the varieties of pagans, witches, and other belief systems outside the Abrahamic faiths of Christianity, Judaism and Islam.
